What is TrustDefender Pro?
TrustDefender Pro is a software app that you can download from our website. When activated, TrustDefender Pro runs a security health check on your computer before you login to online services, such as online banking, and gives you real-time feedback on your computer's security. TrustDefender Pro also verifies the website is genuine.

If you choose to use the TrustDefender 'Safe & Secure' mode, TrustDefender isolates your online transactions so all malware including viruses, trojans, spyware, keyloggers and other nasty programs are locked out. Find out more about our solution.

How do I get TrustDefender Pro on my computer?
You can start TrustDefender Pro from our website. Information, including full instructions on installing the program, is provided. It's a very small download and the automated installation process is fast and doesn't require a restart. Once installed, the TrustDefender Pro app automatically protects your personal information while using our online services.

The TrustDefender Pro app downloaded from our website only applies to our online services. If you wish to have the same level of protection while transacting with other online service providers, you will need to purchase the TrustDefender Pro Gold upgrade.

What is TrustDefender 'Fix it'?
Should the TrustDefender Pro security health check highlight any threats or security issues, you can click on the 'Fix it' button to automatically fix the problem. This will automatically fix the problem or guide you through the steps required to solve the issue. TrustDefender 'Fix it' will guide you through the steps required to solve the issue.

What is 'Safe & Secure Mode'?
If the problem can't be automatically rectified (for example, you don't have administrator rights or the process requires human intervention), you will be prompted to activate 'Safe & Secure' mode. This is done by clicking on the 'Safe & Secure' button when prompted by TrustDefender Pro.

'Safe & Secure' mode creates an encryption 'shield' that temporarily locks down the internet transactions between your computer and our internet servers, ensuring the information you exchange can't be intercepted or penetrated. All unknown software and malware including viruses, spyware, trojans and keyloggers are locked out (suspended) during the session.
